Stay far away. I was prescribed medication (an antipsychotic) by Dr. Chen. I had to stop cold turkey because she ignored my calls and emails and didnt give me refills. Intake (Angela Sharon) connected me with Hadeel Aljazzaf and we discussed what happened. She put me on a new medication. After two months I needed refills and they refused to give them to me as I missed two many appointments (I missed one and tried to reschedule but they ignored numerous calls and emails). They DO NOT CARE about your mental health or wellbeing. In my opinion these doctors should lose their licenses.

No one left behind??? (Billboard at Dundas and DuPont) Is this a joke? My youths psychiatrist dumped him at 16, depressed and full of anxiety and completely not functioning - not going to school, isolating at home. She sent him back to his overwhelmed and unqualified family doctor. CAMH has refused to care for him over a policy that once youve had one psychiatrist, you cant see another one, and the claim that they were never supposed to be a permanent solution!. There are no available youth psychiatrists in Toronto outside of CAMH We have absolutely been left behind. And i know im not the only one. Ask the woman in the other end of the CAMH crisis phone line who has no solutions for people like me and my family.

I know a lot of people who have been helped better at CAMH than other psychiatric hospitals and have made great progress in their personal recovery at this institution. However, some CCC floors are lacking in basic amenities and supplies. This needs to be addressed with increased funding.
