Mini Mix Concrete Ltd

Super friendly driver, great dispatch, and pretty much on time (3:20pm for a 3pm delivery). Got a call few hours before to confirm as well. Only issue is the quantity. I hate running short and it's stress i don't need. Ordered 1.5 cubic meters of 32c2 with fibre on a job that needed 1.4m tops. Came short 2 wheelbarrows and had to run to get 6 bags. I know for a fact i did not get the full 1.5m based on how many wheelbarrow runs we did. Slump was good, around 3-4" as requested for a ramp. Perhaps 1.5m is what you'd get after watering it down, but not upon arrival. If you need 1m, order 1.5 and you'll be good. That said, if supplier charges $710 for 1.5m and delivers 1m, on 5-10 jobs a week, someone is making money and it ain't the concrete contractor who has to stress, hit the store and hope the finished colour matches after. Would i repeat? Depends. 1m gig woth tight access? Sure, 1.5m, i'd order 2 so it's split in 2 trucks. Alternative is a pump with 4h minimum so 1200+concrete cost. You have to weigh pros and cons on each job.

This company is awful to work with and will definitely not use them again. Concrete arrived 3hrs late. 2m was split between two trucks. Drivers could not back up the trucks. Drivers were not friendly. Concrete was not a consistent mix. Driver washed out all over neighbours driveway. In the end I was charged $100 more than quoted. It was billed to my credit card as two $50 charges on top of the initial charge. Stay away from this company.
