She was very patient as we sorted through many listings to find the one that was right for us, and her honesty on areas and aspects of the houses we saw was extremely valuable. Joanna and Mel were great to work with. They helped my wife and I manage our expectations for our 1st-time home purchase, stayed patient while we flip-flopped on offers, and secured us a very reasonable closing price for our 1st purchase. In addition, they also put us in contact with a very knowledgeable mortgage broker and a great real-estate lawyer. Melanie and Jo were referred to us by a mutual friend in Toronto. My partner and I were looking for some advice as we were potential first time homebuyers and were trying to decide what path would be right for us. At the time we were deciding between purchasing a condo in Toronto, where we were already living, or making a big move to Hamilton and purchasing a modest starter home. Mel and Jo were extremely responsive throughout the entire process, even before we had decided to officially look for a home in Hamilton. They guided us through what was a very weird time in real estate and we were successful in purchasing a home right on our target budget, in one of our desired neighbourhoods, meeting our full wish-list.
