Howlett Academy

Howlett has done so much for my kids' learning and their character. I have had three kids go through the school and have loved their focus on fostering student independence, executive functioning skills and math and literacy skills. I highly recommend this school if you are looking for a smaller school that empowers kids to take charge of themselves and their learning.

Howlett Academy is a wonderful school that provides a safe and engaging learning environment to all students. The teachers are passionate about their students' academic success and growth, and value the importance of teaching strong leadership skills. Howlett Academy truly brings out the best in every student by celebrating their individual strengths, valuing the importance of kindness and instilling strong communication skills. Howlett students learn to be role models within their community and are passionate about social justice. Howlett Academy fosters personal growth and advocacy and is an excellent place for learning.

Howlett Academy is amazing, and I am grateful every day that my son has been able to attend this incredible school. There are so many good things to say about this school, I hardly know where to begin. Both the teachers and administration are caring and devoted, and the school is a safe and nurturing environment where the students thrive and are encouraged to develop their full potential. Prior to my son starting Howlett Academy, he loathed school, and would often refuse to attend school. Now, he is happy every day to go to a school where he is constantly being challenged and learning at his own pace. Howlett takes a holistic perspective towards children and seeks to support them all in their own individual and unique ways. Howlett also instills academic fundamentals in all subjects, as well as critical thinking and an awareness of social justice. The cohesive relationship between the kids, parents, teachers, and administration has been wonderful. I highly recommend this school and am so happy that my son has had this opportunity.

I have 2 children that have been a part of the Howlett Academy family for the past 5 years starting in kindergarten. The faculty, principal and teachers are very supportive and strive to provide a first class education for the children. They care about the success of the kids and support and guide them within a safe and creative environment. Because of the engaging learning environment my children love learning. They are confident when they ask questions and/or have to do presentations in front of the class to their teachers and peers. Prior to COVID 19 the school organized many amazing field trips including a memorable moment for my oldest child - a visit to meet Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield. There has been so many wonderful experiences for my children... If you're looking for a small school for your child I highly recommend taking the time to visit the school for a tour.

Howlett Academy is a wonderful school. I have had nothing but a great experience. My childrens teachers do an incredible job working with them. Over the past 12 years my 3 children have been attending Howlett, 1 has graduated and another is about to. Court, the Principal, has been unbelievably kind, helpful and very supportive of my family over the years. I would highly recommend this school!
