My experience is entirely based on my online window shopping. Then I called their Toronto location to check on a pair of high demand shoes. The lady that answered, then checked their stock was extremely helpful and patient while I asked a lot of questions about shipping and where the shoes would ship from.......some sales help can be short with you when on the phone, doing your comparison shopping. Maguire shoes is an entirely women owned &s originated business, operated out of Montreal by two sisters. They buy high demand, expensive, European lines of footwear and bring it to the consumer at the best possible prices. Support Canadian businesses! Their site has more details on the women led, ethical practices, and cost break down. These are comfortable luxurious shoes for a very fair price. The craftsmanship and styles are classic. If you see anything online you can order and pick up free from instore. Maguire's are magical shoes. Definitely worth the cost and investment into your feet. The leather is durable, just make sure you care for it before wearing and then after every season. They'll last longer and look more defined with age.
