Woolridge Shoes

Its not everyday that I spend this kind of money on a pair of shoes. At this price point the bar for expertise in a retail shop should be high. Its always surprising to walk into a store that has some pretty hefty price tags and yet the associate gets stumped after just a few simple questions. That is certainly not the case with Ivor. I think its safe to say he knows just as much about the crafting of his merchandise as the manufacturer. Hes not just a salesman, but an enthusiast that loves to see his clients walk out the door with a bit of knowledge about the craft. Hes patient with you and takes his time making sure youre fit properly. Excellent experience, highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a Woolridge Shoes and I must say, the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I stepped into the store, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that immediately made me feel at ease. The person helping me, Ivor, was an absolute gem. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the shoes in the store, and he took the time to listen to my needs and preferences. I was in the market for a pair of shoes to wear to my upcoming wedding, and Ivor went out of his way to make sure that I found the perfect pair, and he never once made me feel rushed or pressured. His attention to detail and customer service skills were truly remarkable. Highly recommend, 5/5

As far as I know, one of the few physical stores in North America that carry Joseph Cheaney shoes. While in visiting Toronto from Detroit was able to find a great pair of new Cheaney's to replace a pair that was more than a decade old and still looked great. Absolutely worth seeking Ivor out for his immense experience, especially with English made shoes. Will be back on my next visit!

I would say the best shoe buying experience I've had. I went to various other retailers with no luck, and then stumbled upon Ivor's store. Ivor was extremely patient and prudent, in that he brought out multiple different shoes in various sizes and explained the differences between them all. I did appreciate his honesty in that I only leave the shop with a pair of shoes I loved and felt comfortable in, otherwise I should not buy them. I eventually left with a pair of Cheaney Edinburgh's and will definitely be coming back for any future shoe purchases.
