Alma Natural Spa

I had a very nice experience. Its a very peaceful little spot in the middle of the busy Yonge st chaos. Its very clean inside and smells like nice essential oils. I had massage, facial and mani pedi. Its nice to go somewhere that doesnt smell like strong chemicals. Both the owner and her employee are extremely nice and you can tell they really care if you are happy with your service. One of my favourite parts was the facial massage. My face looked really good after. I will be coming back here regularly now and would suggest to others in the area. Updating my review because Paresha the owner is AMAZING! First of all my regular polish manicure lasted over a week which has never happened in my life. I also went back to her for Brazilian wax and let me tell you I am extremely picky and I have tough thick hair. She knows what shes doing. Im so happy to find her and this cute little space.

Quaint, quiet spa. I took my boyfriend here for his first spa experience and we both found our facials so relaxing. Each product was massaged thoroughly into the skin which was so nice. Our aestheticians were both kind and we loved the natural products. Very affordable, we will be back!

I've been visiting alma for over a year now. It's a nice place with great staff. And natural product. Loved that they don't use acetone at all! Here are my nails 5 days after a manicure. I usually keep the polish for over a week. It's really good quality and the removal is super simple and healthy.

Sorry but my experience did not meet my expectations at all. And I feel bad to tell them in person because I dont want to hurt anyone feelings but I believe feedback is important but I will not be returning. The massage was not relaxing at all. There was constant motion non stop nothing slow or therapeutic about it and I understand they may not be RMTs but nor am I am I think I could of given a much more relaxing massage. I felt like my ribs and ankles and throat, all odd places were massaged. Also felt that some muscles that should have been massaged downward were done upwards and no knots were really focused on. Not once did I get a tingle or goosebumps that you typically do when you get a massage. So disappointing because I was really looking forward to this spa day and it didnt meet my expectations at all. The facial was also done in the dark which I guess is fine but arent you support to pluck any hairs on the face that you see? well impossible if the room is dark. And the steamer was so hot in my I couldnt even breath. The head massage started off so so but then was too strong for my liking. The thing that top it off was that my essential package was to Include a manicure and pedicure and as Im about to dip my feet in the water they ask me if I have shellac on, and I did and due to that I couldnt get my mani or pedi done because they dont remove shellac. Why dont they tell their clients ahead of time before booking? I didnt get what I wanted out of the essential package today. I had the whole day booked off only to have to come back again. That completely took away from the package I paid for. Now Im expected to go to my regular nail salon, get the shellac removed and then go back to get the mani & pedi I should have received today. all they had to do was tell me to ensure my nails are clean with no shellac before coming. but np that didnt dawn on them. im super disappointed. I am not even going to go back and get the mani or pedi. I should honestly get my money back so this huge inconvenience. Not recommend this place to anyone. Sorry.

Paresha is sooo good at making my brows so fabulous. Also her manicure, pedicure, Indian head massage, waxing, facials are very relaxing. I also use her sea flora skin cream which helps with pigmentation, acne and has really helped the discolouration and uneven skin tone I was experiencing. Overall Paresha knows her skin care and has really helped me to step up my beauty game and have non toxic clean beauty. I have an eyebrow/ forehead threading package with her and go see her all the time to ensure I always look presentable for my jobs, events, photoshoots, music videos!
