Great massage, my husband and I went together and we both had amazing RMTs! However the overall experience was only OK. We arrived 30minutes earlier than our appointment. The elevator opens in front of the receptionist. She was busy flirting with a member so we waited for them to finish, she stopped mid-flirt to spare us 5 secods and then went back to flirting. Told the her it was our first time at the club and needed direction to the spa since the place looked big. She just said to go straight ahead, but really you need to turn right then left. She doesnt even direct us to where the lockers are, so we assumed the spa and lockers were all together. They were not, we were wearing coats and boots so she should have at least mentioned where to leave those. It left a bad first impression, the receptionist wasnt very welcoming and she wasnt very helpful even after we told her it was our first time at the facility.

Beautiful view of the city from the pool . Like most hotel spas the pool and hot tub are open to all residents and visitors. When I was there there were 6 little children playing, so it was very loud and not so relaxing. There is no steam room, but I did enjoy a bit of peace in the sauna. I find not many spas downtown have sauna anymore. I used a TravelZoo coupon and received an RMT massage. Very relaxing and enjoyable. I really liked the balm and herbal back treatment. I also received a facial. The esthetician was lovely. She made recommendations for my skin, but wasn't pushy about selling their products, which happens at some spas. She even told me about her own personal beauty regiment. Nice teas and variety of snacks while waiting for your treatments.

To get to the spa is a bit tricky on your time, you'll see the Adelaide health centre or something similar, if you walk pass it you'll see an elevator and you'll have to click on the bottom floor which points to the Adelaide fitness club. Just tell the receptionist that it's your first time and you're here for a spa appointment and they'll take you there since it's easy to get lost (it's bigger than it looks). The spa lounge is a bit small which makes it kind of claustrophobic but the rooms are nice and comfortable. I really like that the massage beds are adjustable so it really benefits the RMT for their own ergonomic. They also use steamed towels to wipe off remaining massage oils when they're done. I agree with Trish, I also felt that my time was cut short since Bryan wanted to get to know me more and take notes about what I wanted done etc. even tho the massage was great and he did work on my shoulders more after I requested it. To avoid your time cutting off, arrive half an hour early to fill out forms and talk to the RMT before going into the room. I wanted to give him a second try since he now has all the info about me and knows what I like. I was right- I had a full head to toe Swedish massage, literally. He worked through every body part and I particularly like the head massage which I asked him to apply more pressure. He's great, you just need to request it and he'll comply. Another thing I liked was that he washed his hands after massaging one of my foot before he worked on the next body part. It irks me when the RMT doesn't wash their hands after touching my feet...like I worked all day and I'm sure my feet is smelly, not like they offer a mini foot bath or wipe our feet before the session ( just my pet peeve...and germaphobia) Bryan is very skilled and educated, he has told me he had studied numerous massage techniques. I would recommend him
