I do have to wonder about the recent 5-star reviews that followed a few negative ones. But wont speculate. I will just relate my own experience here. Three stars because the place looks pretty and they are organized and responsive to emails. I will say that unfortunately my experience at this clinic was mostly negative. My son was here for a short time for ABA, and I expressed a few times that I felt like it wasnt the right approach for him, but felt extreme pressure to continue. Tactics were used like, whatll you do when hes 18 and much bigger than you? Kids will judge him for this etc. essentially scaring me into continuing. When I voiced concerns about something another therapist did, I was met with a lot of aggression and absolutely zero compassion for where I am coming from. I was made to feel like, by caring about my son, I am too soft and need to just see it from there point of view. At one point, the therapist outright YELLED at me and my family for disagreeing. If you want stereotypical ABA desktop therapy and your kid responds well, then go for it. If your kid responds well to being chastised and disciplined into compliance, go for it. If you yourself want to be intimidated into compliance, go for it. If you have a sensitive child that requires a highly empathetic and patient approach, maybe not the right place for you.

Our autistic twin sons noticeably blossomed shortly after they started going to Therapy Spot. The ASD Clinical Team and the Speech Language Pathologists distill a wealth of knowledge and experience into fun, play-based sessions that speak directly to our boys' needs and interests. Raising neurodivergent kids is a grind. Therapy Spot constantly gives us a realistic sense of hope and progress. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that they can do the same for your family.

We found Therapy Spot after it was recommended by a friend. There is not enough time or space to express the incredible impact that Jennifer Boyne and the Therapy Spot team have had on our family. We have 5 yr old twins, both on the spectrum, and Therapy Spot is providing us with the absolute best therapy and support available. Jennifers knowledge, skill, and energy, as well as her amazing network throughout the city, have helped us build a very strong therapeutic foundation for our boys. We consider ourselves very lucky to be working with such a dedicated and talented team.

Highly recommend Therapy Spot for anyone seeking quality therapy for Autism Spectrum Disorder. My son has been with Therapy Spot since of the age of two and has made leaps and bounds in all areas. Thank you to all the staff for all of your care.

Not a big fan. My daughter was there in the months leading into Covid and when the pandemic shut everything down there were no check-ins to see how she was doing; no follow-up when Therapy Spot was back to work. I felt that it was all very cookie cutter--therapy did not seem to be shaped to our daughter. Agree with other comments that it was crazy that we had to pay for planning. Worse was I calculated that it cost me $1500 to be lectured on potty-training when we never asked for help.
