Dr Abouali is a top class surgeon. I had a complete ACL tear which he reconstructed flawlessly. He is professional, passionate, cool and kind. (I could go on!!) Im so blessed to have been referred to Dr Abouali and am thankful beyond words to him for the treatment and care Ive received to date. As far as Im concerned, theres no other like him. Dr. Abouali is an excellent surgeon. He took the time to explain the procedure, incision care and recovery very clearly. He is very friendly and put my son (the patient) and myself (parent) at ease immediately. The incision was clean and healed very nicely. I would highly recommend Dr. Abouali for anyone in search of an orthopedic surgeon.

I recently had ACL surgery and meniscus repair performed by Dr. Abouali, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for his expertise and care throughout the entire process. From the initial consultation to the post-operative follow-up appointments, Dr. Abouali and his team was always professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Before the surgery, Dr. Abouali took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and answer all of my questions. He made sure I was comfortable with the process and understood what to expect. During the surgery, he and his team were incredibly skilled and efficient, which helped to minimize my discomfort and recovery time. After the surgery, Dr. Abouali provided me with detailed instructions on how to care for my knee and manage my pain. It was easy to reach the office through the phone in case I had any questions or concerns and Dr. Abouali made sure to check in on my progress regularly. Thanks to Dr. Abouali expertise and care, my recovery has been smooth and successful. I am now able to return to my normal activities and enjoy life without the limitations I had before the surgery. I had skid on black ice in Nov 22 and had a bad fall....I was diagnosed with multiple fractures in my ankle. I had to undergo an ankle reduction surgery at Michael Garron hospital under the care of Dr. Jihad Abouali. I had to have plates and pins in my ankle. I am so thankful to Dr. Abouali and feel blessed to have been treated by him. Dr. Abouali made me comfortable before my surgery by explaining the procedure and answering all my queries patiently. He is a real genius and had done the surgery so well that I had a speedy recovery without any discomfort. Dr. Abouali is a warm person and an excellent doctor. I have had a pleasant experience at all my subsequent follow ups after my surgery. On each follow up, Dr. Abouali would review my progress and update me about the same. He also arranged for the physiotherapy clinic and bone stimulator device company to get in touch with me for excelarating the recovery process. He always goes out of his way to make a patient feel relaxed and comfortable. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Abouali for all his care and guidance to help me walk again without any support and with my restored confidence.May God always bless him for his great spirit and his ever comforting smile.

Dr. Abouali is absolutely the best. At my age two previous docs suggested that it would be a little more risky to do surgery for ACL tear and I should just do live style adjustments and live with it. Finally my knee became so unstable that even walking provided a hazard. I talked to again to the doc who previously recommend avoiding surgery. He asked if I would you be willing to drive all the way to East York (I live in Vaughan) - he said he knows someone there whose work he trusts and that they could probably do this without issues. Luckily I said yes - it has been less than one year since the surgery (and with the help of some physio) I am running and jumping. Recently I played my first game of basketball since 2016. Additionally Dr. Abouali's "bedside manners" are impeccable. For a surgeon who does high profile work for famous athletes, I was amazed by how kind and patient he was with a random walk-in like myself.
