H&R Block

Hexar Garcia who does corporate returns at the 2288 Princess street Kingston location and has now re-located to Gananoque East of Kingston had my files for 3 months and did nothing with them except lose several of my invoice books and receipts. We communicated by email and most of my emails he ignored. I keep all business emails. The last email i sent i said, " It's obvious you don't want to do my taxes, that's fine, can you please direct me to someone who will." He also ignored this email. I sent him well organized files with summary sheets for each tax year in 2 boxes and 1 bag. When I drove to Kingston to pick up my files he gave me back one small box. The summary sheet detailed what the business brought in, what it spent, GST collected,,,GST credits,,,,GST owed. Everything he would need to quickly file a corporate return. Basically I did most of the work for him. He managed to lose one summary page and some of the files for that year so now I cannot duplicate my work and he leaves me in a very difficult position with CRA. My lawyer spoke with him and he blame shifted, saying it was me who failed to communicate. This is a cowardly lie to deflect blame. I strongly advice anyone thinking of hiring this man to do corporate returns to look elsewhere. Robert Burns

I am very satisfied with their service and this year I was helped by Mr. Mainul Chowdhuri. He did a great job so that I understand more. I will definitely go there again for my tax filing.
