Main Street Veterinary Clinic

I am really saddened by the news of the clinic temporary closing. Ever since they took in my 2 dogs, we've been really happy with the service and didn't have any bad experience. I am sharing this review to give appreciation to all the staff and to Dr. Nikahval who have all been great. I hope to receive an email update about what's going to happen and to know where the staff and Dr. Nikahval will be practicing next, 'cause we would love to follow them if it's within town.

Would not support this practice due to the owner, Robert Pepper Jones. He is an unstable man who should have no place near a person never mind your beloved pets. He resolves his issues by threatening and mooning (yes pulling his pants down). His staff I have heard are wonderful, ideally he goes away and someone else takes over, in the mean time, I WOULD NOT SUPPORT! In response to your reply: It is funny as I was instructed by my boss to call the police on you after refusing to leave. Also, thank you for your support - I have a new job. Dr Pepper, appears to be mentally/psychology unstable. He's spiraling out of control. His clinic's FB page has turned into a weird documentation of this; Posting 'tours' of his kitchen, along with other non- related garbage. Something is seriously off with this man. I hope his license is continued to be suspended until this is resolved probably.

I have been taking my pets to this clinic for quite some time. I found out it has been closed by seeing a sign on the door when I got off the streetcar. I received no emails or phone calls from the clinic to advise of the closure, even though my pets require medication from the clinic. I asked around the neighborhood and received some troubling information about a lot of drama at the clinic between the owner and the staff. I have had very little interaction with the owner, Dr. Jones. I have dealt with other vets at the clinic, who were all terrific. More recently, my pets have been seeing Dr. Nikahval, who is a very kind and compassionate vet. The vet techs, grooming staff, and reception staff have all been great. Now suddenly I cannot access Dr. Nikahval for my pet care without any warning. I have not received my medical records. My calls and emails have been ignored. I looked into Dr. Jones on the College of Veterinarians of Ontario website and it states that he is "not currently permitted to practise veterinary medicine due to an undertaking". It says this conditon is in place until December 31, 2023. I'm not sure why the owner has decided to disrupt the clinic in such a terrible way when he isn't even permitted to practise but now the community has been deprived of an essential service for our pets. The clinic has not even released the remains of cremated pets that got caught up in this mess. The whole situation is ridiculous, upsetting, and an extraordinarily unprofessional way to treat people.
