Sara was AMAZING! I have gotten bikini waxes/brazilians at other places and even other waxon locations, and never received as good service as I did here. Sara really knows what she is doing, and she made me feel so comfortable. My waxes with Sara have been significantly less painful than previous waxes, and i have seen such great results. She is so kind, friendly, and overall amazing!! I have recommended her to all of my friends, and it is because of her that i signed up for the monthly membership at this location.

Ive gone to Waxon Yorkville a few times now and each time I have such a great experience. I see Sara, who is not only the most lovely human being, but such a talented esthetician. She is so caring in every way, personally and with her services: I cant recommend her enough, she truly is the best!

I went here today for a wax with Sara. She is a very nice person but the technique that she used ripped my hair off not fully, not from the root, she informed me I would get ingrown hairs. I knew something was off when she oiled my skin before waxing which all my other wax techs would never of done. Also I was informed that they use a wax technique that takes longer for a Brazilian then using wax and paper. I didnt know this before hand and I was not given an option to choose. The appointment was longer than expected and very painful. When I got prior waxes the techs were very quick using a paper and wax method and never ripped my skin and actually waxed me instead of just ripping my hairs in half. Professionalism is also an issue as comments were made about other clients which I didnt think was appropriate. 2 stars is for the front desk being nice and because I could tell that the place has strict hygiene protocols that were followed. I was asked to pull my skin during my wax in an area that had already been waxed which I wasnt comfortable with because my hands werent clean and its not my job. Ive only even been asked to pull up the skin around my lower tummy prior. The tech also touched her face using the gloves she was using to wax me. I will definitely not come back here and definitely didnt get my moneys worth. When I pay for a wax I expect that my hairs will actually be pulled fully out not just filled in half via bad technique. Ive been waxed for over a decade and I never had such a bad experience.
