Vaffi Salon & Aesthetics

I have very fine and straight hair and have aways worn it short & wispy. During covid - like many people - my hair grew longer and I discovered that 'yes' I can wear my hair longer. However, I've not been happy with my cuts of late and was growing my last cut out. I had an appointment today with Kathy @ Vaffi and I explained to her what I was envisioning -- Kathy told me that of course I could wear my hair longer -- during the styling, I watched her work with such precision and taking her time. I left with exactly what I was hoping for!! I now have soft layering and wispy bangs and sides. It feels lovely and feminine - with just a touch of an edge - and I look forward to seeing how it will continue to grow!! I have never felt so 'relaxed' with a stylist on a very first visit which I attribute to my feeling that I was being heard!! Can't wait to see Kathy again for a touch-up! Service: Hairstyling

I had my hair done here on my wedding day a few weeks ago and it was very disappointing. I wanted simple big waves with a half up 'knotted' bun in the back. I was told she wouldnt be able to do any of that citing my hair was too long to create a bun, and the wrong texture for big waves. I suggested going with a straight hairstyle instead since I didnt want it to fall flat before the event which was later in the day, and she said that tighter curls would hold and insisted on going that rout. This wasnt really what I wanted, but I was in an overwhelmed state and didnt feel up to arguing. I had talked to stylists at other salons before making my appointment here (because it was closer) and they had all said the style I suggested would be really easy with my hair type so I was caught off guard. I saw my mom 20 minutes after leaving and she didnt think I had even been to the salon yet. About an hour later my hair looked as if I had just gotten out of the shower and air dried it except it had a bunch of product in it and I had paid over $120. I added a veil and some flowers to help cover it up and distract, but it still looked so blah. I am considering having our wedding photos re-done because of this even though it would be a huge expense. Services: Bridal services, Hairstyling
