It was nice to not be followed around the store (which I understand is what some locations do to "enhance customer service" or even prevent theft). But it was the most relaxing time I've had at a sporting life. The hardgoods section was strong when it came to the selection of some brands of bikes. Noticed several experts in store which reinforced my willingness to buy items from trustworthy, knowledgeable people. Cool hardgoods section with the black walls! You can tell this store has been around for many years, as it still has many of the old fixtures, which add that old school sporting life experience! I like how you are one of the only locations to have two floors (which I find VERY necessary for all of the products carried). This is something the new owners of the company should have considered in their newer locations, as the space needs to mix in sports with the apparel instead of just straight apparel for a single floor. Your staff at the changerooms upstairs and downstairs were friendly. Good selection of items that I didn't see at the Burlington location for example! And unlike Burlington, Yonge street location is not congested and is logical in how it places its products... make sure you make note of this, corporate!

I was at the store when a customer came in and demanded some sort of bike work be done right away and he was extremely rude to the staff there. He wanted his bike (I think it was breakes or something) fixed right away, and when the staff member told him that there are a few days wait to be serviced, he went off on a banter about how he should have it fixed right away because he "shops here all the time". Kudos to the staff there for keeping their cool and handling it appropriately. What gives you the right to jump in front of other people because you're in a rush? Don't you realize its spring and lots of other people need their bikes too? Great shop, great staff, the manager Johnny, and the bike guy Drew are awesome and highly knowledgeable. I wouldnt shop anywhere else.
