Beachfront at Wasaga Motel and Cottages

Be warned. This is a terrible place. We arrived at about 2:40 in the afternoon to check in and drop our stuff off so we could go skiing. A "lady" came out of one of the rooms and aggressively said "What do you want?" We said we were here to check in as we made reservations on Expedia. (Shocking that they would do business with a place like this). She said "well I'm the only one working so I don't know when your room will be ready, I explained that we just wanted to drop our stuff and go skiing. She said try back in an hour ot two. We were shocked but said we would go have a drink and I left my phone number. We left took a walk on the beach then went to wild wing and had two drinks and something to eat and still no call so We went to Walmart to get some things. She still hasn't called. We drove back and were again met with hostility and no firm commitment on when we would have the room. At this point we decided to abandon our ski day and go home. We asked for a refund and the "lady" said "you'll have to talk to my boss" and out him on the phone. He was ruder than she was and comically said "okkeeey" When my wife stated we wanted a refund because our room wasn't ready 1.5 hrs after the posted check in time. The whole experience was terrible but we are glad that we didn't stay there as it looks decrepit and it looked frighteningly terrible and there were many sketchy people around and I would be afraid to leave my belongings in that place.
