The front desk staff was friendly but this hotel was sketchy. Fist step into the building I was overwhelmed with the smell of weed. The hallway outside the room was a disaster. Food and garbage all over the place. And a very strong smell from food that had just been thrown into the hall. No one was wearing a mask in the common spaces. The room was also pretty dirty. Tooth paste splatter on the bathroom walls. Dirty bathroom in general and the bed had a stain on the comforter. There was also a very strong cigarette smell even though its a non-smoking hotel. The pull out couch was very worn and I avoided even putting my bag on it. It was very challenging to get my door locked. The staff let me switch rooms but the second room was not much of an improvement and I couldnt get my door locked at all. In general I felt very unsafe and decided I needed to find a safer/cleaner place to stay. Unfortunately, I prepaid and though I spent less than 10 minutes in the room the hotel and booking company didnt want to discuss refunding me even for one of my two nights. I ended up losing both nights stay price even though I did not stay in the hotel at all. The booking company said I had to talk to the hotel and the hotel said I had to talk to the booking company. Considering the price I was blown away by the condition of the hotel. I quite honestly the worst hotel experience Ive ever had from start to finish. I would NOT recommend any one stay here. But especially if youre alone. Generally very unsafe vibe.
