BMO Bank of Montreal

I went here to do a wire transfer. After I was done they told me that they charge me $110 for the transfer without ever disclosing that information to me prior. If I would have known it costs $110 I wouldn't have done it. I asked for a refund but they said they can't help me. I even asked to speak to the manager but she refused to refund me. You would think they would tell you the cost is $110 before charging you but they charge you and then tell you how much it costs and refuse to refund you. I have 2 business accounts with BMO and I will be closing both accounts and moving banks. Terrible experience.

Depending on the teller that you get, you could get fast service with a smile, or a by the books andy who insists on wasting half an hour of your time trying to upsell you on half a dozen promotions.

Been with BMO over 20 yrs. Proudly took my 14 yr old in to open an account today, was told it would be at least two weeks !! What is going on with this industry....wont accept new clients for at least 2 weeks ?Called another branch...forced to leave a message....after 5 hrs no call back. Personal service is gone, on line or nothing.
