        Several times a year, I get picked to traffic control the townline tunnel, a mega structure that sees shipping, railways, trucking and commuter traffic routed through a tunnel under the Welland ship canal. Yes. It is is a high security area so you cannot park at the two parking spots at either end of the tunnel. You can park at the end of Southworth st and walk over to it for the view. Awesome railfan site.

        Nice to walk along the canal above it. But the tunnel is a good tunnel it never collapses on me when I drive under to go to work. That's more than I can say for other tunnels so this one must be doing something right.
