As the Manager of a licensed childcare centre myself, when it came time to find a daycare for my 1 year old, I found the task daunting. I knew that the standard of care that I expected for my little one would be hard to find. I wanted somewhere that would challenge her mentally, emotionally, socially and physically, yet still support her with love and affection and nurture her in times of need. Not only did I find these things from Robyn and Memere (Diane) of Home Away From Home Daycare, but I found a second family. They are stern when required but above all, they are caring and fair and are truly the greatest role models you could ever have the pleasure of exposing to your children. As a result of their many, many years of experience raising children, I also found the support and advice and reassurance that I was seeking as a new parent as well. After a few months of having my daughter in care, I moved to a town 40 minutes away with an abundance of childcare options, but the thought of having my daughter anywhere else was heartbreaking. And so, I drive 40 minutes to drop her off in the morning, 40 minutes to work back in the town where I live, and then I do the whole trip again to pick her up each afternoon. And I wouldnt have it any other way. I am truly grateful to have this family in the lives of my family.

I have had both my children in Memere and Robyn's Nursery School over the last 5 years. They treat all of their kids like family. My kids absolutely LOVE going to daycare and they learn so much. My oldest still asks me to bring her back for a visit because she misses them (being in school now). They have a very clean facility and it is FULL of LOVE. I do recommend this daycare to anyone who truly wants their kids taken care of. They are a structured Nursery School, with daily activities, and you get Hi Mama reports (+ photos) of how your child's day was and what they've learned. There is no question of how AMAZING they all are with the kids and it truly shows. And as for the previous ratings they are incorrect and only rated poorly due to personal conflicts - - They have not been closed by the ministry + only accept 5 children TOTAL to comply with ministry laws. And I don't know how 2 providers for 5 kids is a bad thing would you not want your children to have the best care - As for the price - shop around $50 a day is pretty well standard now - they supply breakfast, lunch and snacks along with all of the learning the kids get - - Apparently others don't feel the same but I can't put a price on everything they have done/taught my kids. It is WELL WORTH THE MONEY.
