DRIFF does some incredible work at building community, supporting local filmmakers & providing opportunities to learn & grow!!! I had an absolute BLAST at this year's festival & could feel the love & dedication from each of it's organizers.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first film festival. From the time my film got accepted, to its showing, to the live drive in event, DRIFF killed it. I can't recommend them enough if you're a filmmaker looking to submit or an audience member. Just grab a ticket and see for yourself.

Last year was the first time I was able to enjoy the films that were presented by the Durham Region Film Festival. What an amazing experience! The number of films that were available for viewing, the calibre and diverse genres showed the time and dedication of the organizers to bring a truly international festival to Durham Region. Incorporating safety measures due to COVID-19, the festival adapted seamlessly to a virtual format where ticket holders could watch the films and experience Q & A sessions afterwards with the film makers. The festival capped off the season with a drive in viewing of the films that were chosen as the finalists. Such a great night as we watched and honked for those amazing films! Thanks DRIFF for a great season of viewing. SO looking forward to what youre planning for 2021!
