Winnie the Pooh Memorial

Looks like someone wanted to attract tourists and gave up halfway through. The dog poo area wasn't even called pooh corner, I mean come on! The town could really lean into this but instead it's a little playground that has nothing related to winnie the pooh, and a small statue that needs to be desperately re-done with a few plaques. Kids were very disappointed.

White River Ontario is a small town just west of Wawa Ontario anf I usually stop here for gas or a car wash depending on what is needed the most usually a car wash and this beautiful little town happens to have where the story of Winnie The Pooh began, a small memorial park right along the highway and easy access from the highway with plenty of parking in the back and along the side road from the highway. It is these little memorial things that you find right along the highway which brings back memories of not only your childhood but the memories of your childrens and siblings and all around who grow up to watching Winnie The Pooh . I told my nieces and nephews about this place and so later on this summer I am taking them for a Lake Superior Regions Tour and will be stopping here and some camping experiences for them. Oh by the way, there are plenty of local reatuarants here you should stop at and try their homemade style food, very delicious
