Worst place to deliver steel Truckers are an important part of their business and yet they are treated like dirt We have families to and just trying to make a living If I could get unloaded in a timely fashion then I could go to an evening event at my kids school tonight but its starting to feel like it wont happen. Worked there years ago and started as a temp. Fast paced and I moved up the Ladder pretty quick. My father worked there as a tool and die maker so Im guessing that helped. Fast paced and long hours. Safety seemed to be always lacking back then. I moved to the US location in canton mi which is now closed as a production manager. We produced a lot of corvette Z06 aluminum frame parts. Jobs were scheduled to be moved to Canadian plant and nobody attempted to come over to the us plant and see how those jobs ran and needed to be set up. Aluminum inventory was also very tightly regulated with Dana and GM. I turned down position at bowling green plant as I wished to change careers and was scheduled for Military training. My ending career at cannon was less than enjoyable and they tried to not pay my vacation pay owed. Shortly after I left they terminated my father and had him escorted out of the cannon plant in Windsor. He moved back to Europe and that was the last time he worked after a 50 year career. Be careful with management there. Ive since had a long career in the health industry and Im glad we I switched careers. I left in 2008
