They understand how the law works in theory, but not in practice. We came to them in a time when our family was vulnerable and needed help. The information they provided us was incomplete and led to many problems. When I tried to explain to them how it hurt us, rather than being open to listening and learning, they insisted what they did was correct. Indeed, they were correct from a legal perspective, but from the point of view of helping people understand the legalities of a tough situation, they fell drastically short. A disappointment for sure. Edit: I just read their comment to this review. They claim that they were prevented from properly supporting us due to reasons of 'confidentiality'. What? The law is the law. It doesn't change dependent on who the person is or what the situation is. They didn't need to refer to anyone in particular to give us proper council. This poor excuse demonstrates how confused they are.

Called over a week ago to make an appointment, call was not returned. Called today to make an appointment to update Wills and Power of attorney and was advised if we are over 70 a written confirmation from a doctor confirming sound mind is required. While it is not Ontario law it is a requirement of Mr. Carnevale. Not wanting to incur additional fees or unneeded appointments I chose to go elsewhere

Mario Carnevale was a beacon of hope to my family at a time when our options appeared limited and the likelihood of a satisfactory resolution seemed nigh on impossible. Not only was he able to defend us from an unjust accusation, his calm and empathetic demeanor offered emotional succor to myself and those I care about most. My family and I are eternally grateful for his service and I hereby recommend Mr. Carnevale without reservation.
