Here's the issue: (Nothing to do with the Clerical Passport Office Service):
An opportunity was taken to chastise me in front of my children and that was upsetting. It was odd that we were talked to nicely when we first arrived, but not informed that there were a different set of rules for the foyer, as it was not verbally delivered to the fullest extent. (The Passport Photographer, in the same building, asks you to wait in the foyer for your pictures to develop.)
Myself and adult children were asked to leave the building by the security guard, stating that is was per the Mikhail Holdings request, as if we had done something wrong or up to mischief. This was done after I had come back down to the first floor from finishing with our Passport business. I had taken a minute to make sure I didn't drop anything, so as not to come back scouring the building for any documents. I was simply making sure we had all of our belongings before we left, to prevent having to spend more time in the building or coming back.
Instead of talking to us to find out what was going on, I was verbally accosted, in a disparaging way, in front of my children. What if I had truly dropped something and was trying to find out what it was and where it was?
My family and I, do not live in the city and we would not go in separate directions because of that fact.
It doesn't matter how nice the security guard is in the beginning, if the public are not being made aware of all the facts of their visit. I did not feel I was doing anything wrong or deserved such a response, in such a manner, that made us all feel unworthy.
We thank-you for your very patient service, at the Windsor Passport Office. There was no issue with that aspect of our visit. I just left feeling directly treated in a manner, which in no way, was just or fair from the first floor.
