I am a small business owner and struggled to find an accountant to file corporate Canadian and US taxes. From my first year, I only had a bad experience as the CPAs I found on the internet or though references made mistakes in my return, had poor communication, and had to chase them down to meet deadlines. Honestly, I lost hope of finding a professional who could do what they promised and changed me for and would have at least basic customer service skills. Things changed when I was referred to AKIF CPA: US taxes got filled in a lightning speed ( in 3 weeks, including Christmas and New Year holidays in comparison, with 11 MONTHS for the previous year). As a new client, I was set up in a couple of days. Right after that, Mohammad and his team immediately started working on my return. Communication was in a timely manner, very polite, and professional. I received prompt replies, follow-ups, and reminders. I still cannot believe that this year everything went so smoothly. I've had a good experience working with them. I'm US/Canadian and run a small business, which is a bit more complicated than normal with all the various tax codes. They have been able to help me out and respond quickly to any questions I have.
