The team at Villa Da Vinci are very passionate about the residents. It is so evident starting from their General Manager to the rest of the Management staff and team. This is an incredible residence - these people REALLY care.

My mother moved into Villa da Vinci just over three years ago, and in the past year, there has been a very noticeable and positive change at the Villa with the arrival of the General Manager, Lina. She is a very kind, caring, compassionate, dedicated and supportive individual who has enriched the lives of all the residents and their families with her vision and exceptional leadership. Lina and her team have brought back many Italian traditions to the Villa that were lacking in the past. It was wonderful to see my mother as well as the other residents enjoying themselves at the various activities, musical events and cultural celebrations. Unfortunately, with the pandemic, my mother slowed down, yet the staff were attentive and tried to engage her in these activities. It is also worth noting that the food/dining experience has improved greatly, and it is also refreshing to see the many renovations that have taken place. I would recommend the Villa to anyone looking for an Italian community-based retirement home for their loved ones.

My grandmother has been living here for 5 years and we have had a positive experience. The staff including Lina, have been wonderful and very accommodating to all of her needs. I would highly recommend this home to anyone transitioning into senior residences.

The Home has been wonderful during the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff has done an amazing job protecting and taking care of the seniors. I want to thank Anne Murphy for all the work she has done keeping the residents family informed and up to date, and how well organized the home has been. I give the staff a 5 star rating but removed a star because the facility still is in need of some renovations. I'm hoping when the pandemic is over Villa Da Vinci will continue the renovations they started over a year ago. Thank you to all the staff at Villa Da Vinci!!!! could not have done it without you!!!!

I moved my grandmother into the center in April 2020. She unfortunately passed away two months later due to long term health complications she had most of her life. This retirement residence was extremely accommodating to the ever changing health situation of my grandmother. Additionally I feel they protected their staff and residence extremely well during the height of the pandemic. My grandmother's only complaint during her short stay was that they fed her too much which is high praise from her. The care support staff from an independent source (not provided by the site but through the local LHIN) which assisted my grandmother who was on palliative care also made note to tell me this is one of the good retirement residences and that this was a great place to have her at. I have recommended and will continually recommend this location to all my friends, colleagues or acquaintances who may be looking to support their elderly loved ones.
