It's hit and miss if you get "good" no "acceptable" no... Try "passably fair" service. They sell all the usual over-priced and not-for-retail merch you would expect from a convenience store. Plus bongs. And oh, they also rent u-haul trucks. But they don't bother to clean the trucks. And they always take EVERY other customer ahead of you if you're renting. And make sure that you show up with a bona-fide credit card - a Visa-debit won't work. A prepaid visa or m/c won't work. But cash will. And they are willing to let you extract cash from their 3rd-party ATM for an exorbitant withdrawal fee. Full estimated payment plus $100. It will take you 60-90 minutes to rent your truck if you do not have a credit card and there are other people (mostly teens) buying stuff. By contrast, it only takes 5-10 minutes if there are no other customers, and you actually HAVE a "real" visa or m/c. Overall, having to wait while someone without a card navigates the overly-onerous procedures was painful and I felt embarrassed for the uhaul customers ahead of me. I was in their exact same predicament once. At this same store. Uhaul should be ashamed that they allow this repressive treatment of customers to persist.
