Very disorganized when it comes to depositing cheques. I give them a post dated cheque and they forget to deposit. Another time I gave a post dated cheque it was to be deposited the next day. To my surprise again it was not deposited.

Opened newcomer cheq account with PBA Eric Torrez. 1) He didn't invite us to the office and the whole process about 15 min we stood at the wicket. 2) found 2 mistakes in the papers and once pointed, got the attitude that's above and beyond. Eric doesn't pay attention to correct address given to him, plus doesn't know his branch is located in York, not the North York thus the building next door where I live must be also York. 3) rudely chewed the gum the whole entire time and in the end didn't hesitate carelessly and casually for show to spit it out in front of us, as if we're his buddies playing basketball at the backyard at the moment - disgusting and super unprofessional, unacceptable behavior 4) Eric is not competent whatsoever has no idea what he talks about and need to educate himself on products he sells asap - he assured us unsecured credit cards with 1000 cad limit are given to newcomers even if they aren't pr but on a work permit 5) when I came to apply for credit card another day, Eric said only secured one is for me, didn't apologize at all for misleading and misinforming and not being competent. And moreover wasting my time. I suspected td only offers secured credit THAT'S WHY at the time of opening cheq account I asked twice if he's sure I'll get unsecured card given my situation. He confirmed and reassured me. 6) fyi 148000+ Ukrainians arrived to Canada under CUAET program during the last year after Russia attacked Ukraine and guess what? They all don't have refugee status and can't relax living off the social assistance and we are here on a work permits and in order to stay in Canada we need to work and make money and pay taxes and strive. By NOT giving newcomers from Ukraine unsecured credit cards with 1000 cad limit you lost 148+thousands of new customers. Guess who got them all? CIBC. Your loss. And with the service like dilettante Eric Torres provides, no wonder.
