Mezi Paint

Initially responded to this company's ad on Kijiji. Big Mistake. This company, owner Roland Balogh, his brother and father came to paint one of our condos including all doors and trim. Was promised in writing via Kijiji communications that two coats of paint would be applied. Two coats of paint were NOT applied anywhere throughout the condo. You can visisbly see the old paint underneath. They were sloppy and unprofessional, did not do the work as promised, left a big bag of garbage in the middle of the kitchen floor as well as all the empty paint cans except for the remainder of white paint used on doors and trim- they took that with them when paint is included in price!! Some drywall patching was also done and they left the mess and dust behind and told me to sweep it up. When I made multiple attempts to contact them back on Kijiji to have them come back and do all the touch ups, I was met with excuses, he forgot to reply, his family was sick, he would come by at the end of the week to finish the work and then eventually he just deleted his Kijiji ad without responding to my last message. I then went to directly texting Roland where I was met with the same promises and nothing! They take your money and don't do the work. I have reported them to Kijiji, who does nothing as they immediately made new ads which are still up and active. Also reported to Better Business Bureau and Ontario Government Consumer Complaints where nothing will get done either as there is nothing to force the business to respond and unfortunately companies like this will be able to continue to rip people off . Do not use this company, they are the worst painters we have ever used. They have no integrity, obviously don't take pride in their own work and obviously couldn't be bothered about customer satisfaction and building a good reputation ! Once they've taken your money, that's it, they're gone. Had to buy more white paint and spend more money to hire someone else to finish the incomplete work!! Implore people to do their research and due dilligence on a Company before hiring them ! That was our mistake. We've hired painting companies in the past and have done our own painting as well. Hands down and by far this is the worst quality job we've ever had done ! Edited to add : read some of the reviews below and agree, sloppy, unprofessional team, runs away with your money and then blocks you and ignores you when you politely make multiple attempts to have them come back to finish the work. guys dont contact this company to paint your house!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!! First of all, they painted our house the WRONG colour! we gave them deposit, then they asked for more then ran away with our money and never came back, they are THEIVES!! THE TEAM AT MEZIPAINT WAS INCREDIBLE, THEY WERE AMAZING VERY FRIENDLY AND PROVIDED A VERY COMFORTABLE PAINTING EXPERIENCE THEY DID WORK ON OUR MAINFLOOR , BEDROOM AND BASEMENT. THEY PROVIDED A VERY COMPETITIVE QUOTE. TOOK CARE OF PAINT SHOPPING AND COLOR SELECTION. CLEAN AND RELIABLE. LAST BUT NOT LEAST VERY AFFORDABLE GUYS. FROM START TO FINISH WE TRUSTED EVERY MOVE.
