Get the fried chicken. Lots of flavour and crispy too. Not sure if the guy was just being nice to me and gave me extra on this visit or this is their usual portion. For a "small" size, I got A LOT of food for $6. Great value. The rice and peas, however, was very lacking in flavour. Growing up on Caribbean food, I have a very specific expectation as to how rice and peas should taste - that is, lots of thyme and big plump peas. Display case(s) aren't the greatest so ask if you want to see the food first. Parking: Parking can be a challenge on busy Eglinton West, but I had no issues finding at least one spot down the block on a weekday lunch hour.

A bit of a hole in the wall though very delicious. Clean and interestingly decorated. Bought an oxtail meal off Too Good To Go for 8 bucks! Was delicious, and would definitely recommend.

The food here is really homey. The food I got was a surprise bag from Too Good to Go and may not be on their regular menu. I've never had Jamaican fish tea soup before, but it's a very hearty broth that comes with all the chunks of pumpkin, cho cho, beans and fish that make up the soup, so you know it's packed with delicious flavours. The stewed pork was juicy and flavourful - tastes like a hug. Even though these were end-of-day meals from Too Good to Go, the quality tasted deliciously fresh and came to me piping hot (especially the soup). Looking at the menu in store, their prices seemed very reasonable, and some of the things that were listed aren't on their website, so you'll have to come in to see what delicious offerings they have for the day. I will definitely come back here to try more
