Beautiful location, enjoyed our time there. Very difficult to reach by phone if you have any questions regarding your upcoming stay and their voicemail is never up to date so it is unclear if they are open or closed at any given moment when trying to call. Rooms : 3/5 | Service : 2/5 | Location : 5/5 More

Everyone here from the owners to the staff, to the chefs and the coordinators are all extremely helpful and comforting. We are planning a private luncheon here and they have been no less than accommodating to all of our plans and questions. This winter we visited to see the site for the first time, attend a tasting, and stay a night to explore the area. I would recommend coming here for the beautiful grounds and the flawless service that they provide. Even in winter, everyone is warm and the site is picturesque. Food: From appetizers to entrees to desserts, everything was very well crafted and delicious. The salmon literally melted in your mouth and the tenderloin had a perfect marriage with a creamy and flavourful mash that was whipped to perfection. Desserts are featured by their Chef Lam and are always presented beautifully. We stayed and had the opportunity to enjoy their breakfast in the morning and we were not disappointed. It was honestly the best french toast I ever had and the bacon and sausages were delicious. Accommodations: The inn rooms were immaculate and well maintained even despite them being older. However, they still had the traditional German building characteristics which were present throughout the entire space. I would recommend anyone who is stopping by to visit Hessenland for a small-town comfort and a casual, yet fine dining meal. Bonus: The photos do not do this place justice.
