        The receptionist doesn't answer her phone. I call all day and don't get through and they took away the function of leaving a voicemail.. very upset I can't even get ahold of my own family doctor.

        Dr. MacKinnon has been my family Dr. for almost 25 years. I've never once left his office for either myself or my 3 children, feeling like he didn't care or was dismissive of our health concerns. He has treated me with respect and competent professionalism during some very dark and difficult moments in my life.

        Dr. MacKinnon saw me at outpatients in December, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have found out I had cancer, because he insisted on doing a chest x-ray and putting me in the hospital overnight to put the scope down. Now I am down to two rounds of chemotherapy, which has shrank enough that the Doctor is happy. Will be done in August.
