Mike MacDonald of Sea Eagle Aviation provided us with an experience of a life time when he took us up in his airplane for a tour of his beautiful island . He is quite the character , with a a warm friendly smile and a fun sense of humour that comes across immediately. I felt quite at ease before the plane lifted off the ground ( which happens so much quicker then with a commercial airline flight !) . His knowledge of the island , passion for his work and confidence in his abilities as a pilot all accumulated into a pleasurable adventure/ experience. I still have not found the words to describe how amazing it was to see beautiful Prince Edward Island from the sky . The leaves are just now starting to WOW with their Fall colour display so varied and beautiful. So much to take in from the rich soils and shapes of farm fields , forests scattered all about , cars moving along the highways, church steeples , the bridge that connects the Island to N.B , windmills, beaches and so much more. To say I was sad when it was time to land would be an understatement as I felt like I could have stayed up there in the clouds overlooking the forest , towns , rivers and coast line forever . What an incredible way to take in the island ! Without a doubt I would happily go up with him again and will be keeping him in mind when it comes to gift giving certificates this year for loved ones. Perfect gift for those hard to shop for and enjoy new experiences . I can not recommend his services enough as I found Mike to be a professional , personable and knowledgable pilot with a passion for flying. Whether you are a tourist , newcomer to the Island or lifelong inhabitant his tours will not disappoint! I understand he also is a flight instructor with many students seeking their own pilot licence and can only imagine how much fun it would be to take lessons from Mike !
