I recently received my Yoshikane gyuto from Cooks Edge, including a new handle and have nothing but praise to offer for the product itself, truly amazing and everything I was looking for in a new knife. Hard as it is to believe, the service provided from the Cooks Edge team (specifically, Marcel), was just as amazing with them responding to all queries quickly and professionally, despite my bothering them several times over small details. On top of this, the shipping speed once all was ready was very fast, so for those not in Canada, do not let their location discourage on any level. Highly recommended for any in the market for a high quality kitchen tool, these guys are great and I will look here before I look at any other similar businesses in the future.

I've only started cooking for myself regularly one year ago, so I still considered myself a beginner home cook. I was looking for a new knife, and Marcel recommended me the perfect knife for me. When he explained about the types of knives and how to handle and care for them. The whole time, he was so passionate and enthusiastic. He was kind enough to give me many tips about culinary arts as well, since I was a beginner. I ended up getting a solid all-purpose Santoku from the Tojiro Color Series for a reasonable price. I can assure you that once you get a hold of these Japanese knives, you will never go back. They cut food like water in excellent precision. They are absolutely amazing, and good care will last them a lifetime. No doubt I will be going back if I need anything.
