The staff at the small animal hospital were amazing. They were very thorough with my dogs surgery process. They didn't mind answering my questions or when I called my husband and asked them to tell him some of the info. I traveled from out of province to take my dog to them and it was the best decision!! I highly recommend them.

A big thank you to surgeons and internal medicine team for extending our dogs life. Forever grateful The surgery was performed in a timely manner and our dog recovered quickly. They made sure we are up-to-date with all information while she was in the hospital. Thank you!

Last Sunday we had to bring our 17 year old dog Bowie to the emergency vet after noticing that he had fallen ill suddenly. The staff at the AVC animal hospital were kind, patient and respectful while guiding us through the process of a peaceful euthanasia. My husband was out of the country and Dr. Thibault and her aid Jill allowed him to join via FaceTime to explain the situation to everyone as a family and eventually say a proper good-bye to our beloved. The process was obviously stressful and I was feeling quite lost but the team made it way less painlful than I had been dreading. They cared about Bowie and empathized greatly throughout our time there right up until his final breath. Thank you so so very much from the bottom of our slowly mending hearts.

Id give it zero stars, but google wont let me. We took our two year old Labrador Retriever to AVC for a TPLO procedure. During the procedure a partial patellar tendon was lacerated. Now my poor dog is recovering from not only a TPLO procedure, which is intense enough, but because of negligence and incompetence hes recovering from a lacerated tendon as well and has to endure a splint for at least 4 weeks, not to mention the pain and suffering he has to experience. This huge mistake could cost my dog many issues now and in the future, not to mention the financial cost(s) involved. As far as Im concerned the surgeon/ professor made a dire mistake and misjudgment. Whoever made that cut made a huge mistake. Whether it was the surgeon himself or the student they obviously were not ready to participate in such a serious procedure. I am beyond disgusted with the outcome. We took our dog here because we thought they were the best of the best. Instead my dog has to suffer needlessly.
