Camp triumph is a place like no other .The staff are so caring and easy to get along with and from going to camp triumph I learned so much from going to camp and it has completely changed me and would definitely say it is my home away from home . Best summer camp in all of PEI no doubt about it.

My son had a blast at camp. He had about 4 hours worth of stories to tell me when I picked him up . Thanks to everyone at the camp for giving him these lasting memories!

I think it is important to note when reading a negative review, everyone has their own opinion on how things go. In our experience this camp has been nothing but amazing for my immediate and extended family members. In response to the 1 star review I'd like to point out, this camp is not a therapy camp. It is a place for the kids to be kids and just enjoy a week without the worry of dealing with or living with individuals who suffer from chronic illnesses. In those homes some children need to be more independent at earlier ages, have more responsibility than most kids or in general care for the home overall. They do not address the issues they face at home, they give the children a space to get out of their burdens and hope it allows them a chance to be kids for a week. As stated on their website, "What is the primary focus of the camp? The focus is on having an exceptionally fun time in a safe atmosphere of mutual support and understanding. We help children to escape from their usual stresses, gain confidence and learn some new skills. We are not a therapy camp but a lot of healing and resilience-building takes place naturally, supported by our amazing staff." I recommend this camp to anyone who falls within the application requirements. Again, it might not be for everyone but it's an experience.
