David's at Crowbush

We had dinner at David's on Saturday night, a belated anniversary dinner. We hadn't visited for a few years and I understand there is a new chef. The food was excellent (appetizers of crab cakes and chowder, main of seafood pasta and halibut with forbidden rice) - expertly prepared and very nice presentation as well. The service was friendly and efficient even considering the fact that they had a wedding which kept the kitchen v. busy. Also, they have screened in the balcony so we might try that next time. It's not inexpensive but the food (and view) makes it worthwhile. Thanks!

Excellent food, fresh and great combinations of ingredients. Kathleen was equally awesome. The salad with the crusted feta was so good. The steak with lobster potatoes was very good too. Poached Halibut melted in my mouth. Crab legs were sweet, fresh and fun. We'll be back again!

We had an amazing meal at Davids Restaurant. We enjoyed the salad with candied pecans and goat cheese, the sirloin with mashed potatoes and generous chunks of lobster, and the pork tenderloin with roasted root vegetables. The service was attentive and quick and our meal was the highlight of our anniversary celebration. Gorgeous property, gorgeous food!

Not good. This is supposedly a 5 star resort however this restaurant does not do it justice. Wonderful stay at the cottages but the dining experience was disappointing. Service was slow and not experienced. The $16 salad with warm goat cheese had a brick of breaded almost cold goat cheese on it. Pasta had mixed reviews. Chicken tenders and hot dog from kids menu was standard fare. Menu was very limited. Holy Cow down the road at Morell is a better option.
