A great tasting session with a super fellow passionate about his craft. Bought two bottles of mead, and we are now sitting on the deck of our room at Crowbush enjoying some refreshing tasty cherry mead. Totally delicious .

Walked into this place completely on accident a year ago, just looking to pay for gas. Chuck gave us the whole background on mead and showed us his whole set up plus let us taste test some! Amazing service and mead! Left with a lot of bottles, hope to return when I go back to PEI.

Chuck shared the history of mead and details of his mead making with my husband and his friend - they loved it ! Would recommend.

What an interesting brewery to fall into! In truth, we drove by this place for a couple weeks and one day (the day before our holiday was over) we saw that it was open so my wife insisted we stop the car to check it out. It's actually a meadery, natural distilled honey wine products. To give you an idea, it tastes like a hard cider - a real hard cider, not like that carbonated stuff you buy in the store. It is sweet, sour or tart, depending upon what it is brewed with. I tried several different flavors at an impromptu tasting that just seemed to appear out of nowhere of myself and other passersby. The haskap berry mead was tempting, just because it was so tart and the cancer fighting qualities of the berry, but then thought a spicier mix was more sweet. I think it was a mango spice. Only just tasted it so far, taking it home as a reminder of my vacation. Really a cool place, the man who runs it was incredibly interesting and a respectable entrepreneur with an idea you rarely experience.
