Driftwood Heights B & B

This was our 5th stay with Liz and Sean and as usual it is by far the best B&B we've ever been in. Other B&B's were fine but the food, service and hospitality at Driftwood has consistently been exceptional and it would always be my first choice and my strongest recommendation. Poor business. I had to cancel my booking due to the Hurricane (24 September 2022). I was in front of the bridge at noon and the bridge/road was closed (300m to the bridge). So I decided go to home and called the property to cancel the booking for 2 nights. He seemed to be ok and understandable over the phone. But a day later, I got charged for 1 night at the property. I messaged him and asked how a business could charge people when there is a storm that blocked people from getting to the island ? Power went out (Yeah, big deal for my as I am driving en EV car) ? Based on the weather and pictures on the news, I would not risk my life to get to the island ? The only reason that he gave me : people still came in? Ok ? Such a poor reason. Never seen this non sense from a business, but at the same time business are made to make money. Waste of money and time

This was like home away from home. Liz with her tasty breakfast and Sean with his excellent service.. They both provide wonderful conversations and managed quietly to meet your needs. Their home is so clean that it provided a safe feeling for anyone concerned about their health. That you so much to you both...

The driftwood B&B is awesome! The rooms are amazing, everything is so clean. Shawn and Liz that own it are so nice. The breakfast is amazing , such a beautiful room they have for us to eat breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place to stay! Its definitely on our list to come back .
