Island Home Bed & Breakfast

If you want to feel like royalty, staying at this beautiful historic home is a must. The owners, Sharon and Mike, are fabulous hosts! They will go the extra mile for you, and they know all the hidden local gems if you need recommendations for food or activities. I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness, but Mike keeps the old house looking brand new. I couldn't get over how spotlessly clean it was from floor to ceiling. And the homemade breakfasts are a splendid affair. Sharon will spoil you with her delicious gourmet creations and different table themes each day. We stayed there for two days this summer, but I wish it had been more. Our stay at Island Home Bed & Breakfast was one of the main highlights of our 2 week road trip across the east coast - I'd give it a 10 star rating without hesitation.

We spent three nights with Sharon and Mike in the gorgeous King room. We were delighted with their attention to detail both in decor of this beautiful old home, and in every possible need of a traveller. Apologies to Sharon that we don't eat cooked breakfasts! but we loved our super-nutritious 'continental' with so much variety and lots of conversation. We highly recommend Island Home.

From the moment we checked in to our Bed and Breakfast Sharon and Mike were absolutely amazing hosts. We loved the delicious breakfasts each morning as well as the cleanliness of the Prince Room. Our children were well taken care of with special treats and little surprises each day. We were able to learn more about the island and plan our trip with Sharon and Mikes help. When we come back to PEI we will always stay in the Summerside area and I look forward to returning back to this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Thank you Sharon and Mike for everything you did to help us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay.
