Evermoore: Island Dining & Brewing

Super friendly staff, but 'craft beer' and food are kind of bad. I tried 5 different beers. Each one was like a flavour silo; lemon. mollases. hops. Nothing complex or interesting. The food..of 8 dishes that came to our table 5 of them had balsamic drizzle. Fish cakes were terribly salty as was complimentary popcorn. Nothing made sense food-wise. You don't finish your meal and feel good. There is no balance in flavour profiles of the food or the beer. The culinary and beer experience was honestly offputting, which is hard to admit in the face of such a great atmosphere and absolutely lovely staff. **Edit** After seeing the nasty replies from the owner on negative reviews I have removed a star. Not a good look. The one star is for the lovely staff who have to work here and the atmosphere.

On a Saturday afternoon there was a live jam band setup in the corner quietly playing maritime jigs and reels - the stage was set for a great meal and craft beer. Upon being seated we were presented with a pitcher of water and a bowl of fresh pop corn for snacking while choosing a brew and browsing the menu. Beer was great, and so was the food. Reasonably priced, great Saturday afternoon atmosphere. No hesitation recommending Evermoore.
