On a half-week trip to PEI, going twice anywhere is a significant commitment. Casa Mia By The Sea holds this high honour in my estimation even without considering the food: the pier-end views in early May were dramatic and painterly, the interior is clean and nicely set-up, the service exceeds 'friendly' to 'intimate'. Wonderful Holly and her beautiful friend the head-waitress were a joy to talk to, and give credit to their profession. Then came the shrimp linguine of my first visit, and the seafood chowder of my second, which made me consider moving to PEI for good so I could truly call it 'casa mia'. Incredible food, a gorgeous setting, a joyful time, and my favourite people on the island: surely a must-visit for anyone rolling towards Charlottetown from the Bridge, or vice-versa.
