My first time shipping cargo (theatre dcor,) and on short notice, WestJet was amazing: could always speak to someone immediately, very transparent about all the costs and flights available and no "priority charges" to get something shipped within a few days: they will simply say which is the first flight that should have space available and deliver it. Contrary to Air Canada Cargo, that wanted to charge nearly double for priority shipping, but the agent came clean that it would never make it with the amount of flight cancellations going on. Other cargo brokers would simply be too expensive (if they reply at all in a timely manner.) The liaison, ACI, had a great guy working at the counter at YUL, who was very generous in explaining plenty of things of how cargo shipments work. One star deducted, because WestJet Cargo emails tend to take _hours_ to get through. Generally takes between 2 and 8 hours for emails to come out, but when they do, they all arrive at the same time.

Dont listen to any of the negative reviews. We got one guy over here talking about his late flight and his meeting but hes commenting on West Jet Cargo... this is for cargo. West Jet cargo has been the best to work with. They have not made any errors with my shipments. Their call center will always answer and their staff is trained and know what theyre doing. Unlike Air Canada cargo, West Jet cargo can actually serve you in English or French. Do not ship with Air Canada they dont care about your cargo. Go with the better trained West Jet
