Fantastic place near Lac Megantic to Observe the lake and surroundings during the day and then you can also observe the stars at night. It is located about 8-10 mins from the hotel we were staying at so it was convenient for us. Please note that sometimes there are RV's parked there at night (I am guessing people spend the night there as well in the parkimg lot). To the people who were sleeping there that night apologies we probabaly made a lot of noise taking out our stargazing equipment out of the car in the middle of the night. Nice place to go with kust binoculars and sit down and enjoy the night sky. There are a few shaded benches and tables to sit on amd enjoy picnic.
