After I purchased my food I sat at a table across from the restaurant. My friend got to the cash with her salad and simply commented how shocked she was that it cost $10. She then came to my table to chat which is when the owner of the restaurant came over and without introducing himself began to aggressively tell her that she had no business making his wife upset in front of everyone...and yet there he was doing the exact same thing to my friend in front of me and everyone at other tables around us and much much aggressively. I found that to be very unprofessional. Its time I start bringing my lunch.

I was dropping something off at Canada Post and saw a sign that Cafe Escale was open so decided to grab lunch. Ordered a club sandwich with poutine and can honestly say that it was the best sandwich I've had in a while. They use fresh chicken breast and the bacon was crispy. The owner was friendly and suggested I try a panini sandwich next time. Will definitely be coming back.
