It was a good call to go there. It has Canadian history from Ancient Canada to Colonial Canada to Modern Canada. It has a children's museum which we could not see as we ran out of time but saw a glimpse of it and regretted the decision of coming so late here. If you are looking for a place where you can learn about Canada, that is the place. Lots and lots of data to absorb. Qlots of artifacts to see. Some things were displayed, some were written and some were payed in form of videos. Don't forget your reading glasses at home!! Make sure to wear comfortable footwear as well. They had a cafe inside which we could not go as we didn't have enough time. They had paid parking available in the basement. They had washrooms available on each floor I think and elevators to go the upper levels. They also had a water fountain on the main level next to the washroom so don't worry about refilling your water bottles. Overall, we could have spent hours there but we entered it too late so we could not finish it. It depends on if you don't enjoy the history much, you may come out faster than us. But even then, you would have something or the other to enjoy there.
