Comme j'y suis all 2 fois juste avant la fermeture, autour de 20h30, je n'ai pas grand chose dire sur l'ambiance, part que le restaurant est bien dcor et que le bar est classe. Disappointing for the price and I do not understand the raving reviews. The fish tasted bland, like it had been frozen for a long time, except for the red snapper which seemed fresher and the scallops which were particularly delicious. The nigiri had good fish portions but this does not make up for the bland fish. We tried the "green" and the "spider" makis and they were also somewhat bland. Maybe this hits the spot for those used to grocery store and chain sushi, but for the price and based on the reviews, we were expecting something much better. Good sushi restaurants take pride in sourcing fresh fish. I get the impression the fish here was the same as what I've had the last times I've been at one of the local all-you-can-eat (ayce) sushi restaurants. They also follow the same trend of calling escolar "white tuna". Eating at such an ayce restaurant for dinner would have been less expensive than here. We don't mind paying more for lesser quantities, but we expect a much higher quality. Service was good, and the complementary tea was very good. Note that this restaurant is where the Pho - Maison de nouilles restaurant used to be. It feels like the owners have decided to turn the restaurant into something more upscale and profitable, while missing the mark of what makes sushi really good.
