Came here at 3-4am after a long night absolutely hammered with the boys. We ordered our food and while we waited the man put a movie on for us to watch! We brought our food home and it was fantastic. Now that I'm sober I can't believe this place exists in Gatineau! Amazing quality food that's open actually LATE - unheard of around here! Gem of a spot - great service and great food.

#1: I admit I am a tough critic. To me this a a great review even if not quite 5 stars. Really nice staff. They have gone above and beyond for me before. Staying up extra late to serve, additional toppings on baklava, replacing entryway sitting area with new table furnishings - despite limited space and clientele in this area to work with - are but some examples. The bearded man with shaved head and some small arm tattoos is an extremely kind fellow. It comes from a good place (i.e. intent); however, the above-average amount of tinfoil they provide is actually counterintuitive. Almost all clients taking food to go will still have to reheat food (notably shawarma) and the extra layer of tinfoil only vents heat inwards - creating some sogginess even if it does keep it warm but not quite warm enough to not need reheating regardless. This is my experience and I live a 6 minute walk away. Most sandwiches have bread stuck to tinfoil unfortunately. I do not mind that much, but for patrons and their own financial sake I would recommend less tinfoil simply. Moreover, $12.99 for small mixed shawarma is 2-3 dollars steeper than Ottawas average. Not sure about Hull average, but this is certainly still felt when ordering therefrom. Otherwise best shawarma and certainly best shawarma I have found never mind the late hours. Bravo and thanks.
