    Lack of transparency, unethical, unprofessional unlawful behavior. 1. We signed up for a year contract with Protectron Granby supposedly using ADT. It turned out we were dealing with DM Security in St Hyacinthe using Gestion Spallax instead of ADT and we knew nothing about it. We only found out when we called central Bromont and they could not find us neither with ADT nor with Protectron!! We called Protectron their answer was it does not matter who we are connected to as long as we are protected. We were flabbergasted by this lack of transparency and the poor service we were getting and decided to change company. 2. We gave Protectron 34 days notice (30 in our agreemnet) prior to the expiration of our contract. Protectron acknowledged it, yet they never cooperated neither in disconnecting us from the system (Connect24 confirmed we were still hooked) nor in giving us the installer access code to facilitate a new connection. We called them twice highlighting the problems the new installer was facing, and twice the technical director M Alexandre Messier rudely hang up the phone on us, saying the new company we chose is incompetent and that we should stop calling and bothering him because we are no longer his clients and he has no time for us! What ensued was that our house remained unprotected for one week and by the end we had to change the module and incur a cost of over a 150$ simply because Protectron was adopting an unlawful unprofessional behavior. The Consumer protection Bureau (CPB) confirms it was our right to get disconnected and receive the installer code to help activate the system by someone else. They recommended we send Protectron a 'Formal Notice' and push the matter further, providing them with a copy of the formal notice to be used in the CPB merchants' search engin. In reply to M Messier's response: You seem oblivious to the fact that your business contract ends with your client, when you give him (or the company of his choice) the installer code to help reactivate the system. Withholding this information and not effectively disconnecting the system from Connect24, is illegal according to the Consumer Protection Bureau (CPB) On a side note, I had no issues with the JP company; we BOTH had a problem with YOU, a problem you created with your unethical business behavior. Electing to mention their name or any competitor's name in your reply is unwarranted for it can neither justify your actions nor polish your image.
